They fell just short of the Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to High Point Academy of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.

Isaiah Ralls put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 14 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). Ralls has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances. Ralls was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

High Point Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Brashier Middle College Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
