After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lufkin, Nacogdoches was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Livingston Lions by a score of 34-24. The high-scoring effort was just what the Dragons needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

Nacogdoches found their leader in underclassman Cameron Brady, who picked up 92 receiving yards and a touchdown. Brady was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 68 yards.

Livingston's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Damorian Hill, who rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns. Trenden Williams handled things on the ground, rushing for 85 yards.

Nacogdoches now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Livingston, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
