Volleyball Game Preview: Clarke Indians vs. Chariton Chargers

The Clarke Indians will head out to square off against the Chariton Chargers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarke will be strutting in after a win while Chariton will be coming in after a loss.

On Saturday, Clarke earned a 2-0 victory over Martensdale-St. Mary's. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Chariton came up short against Albia last Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Blue Demons recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Clarke picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-11. As for Chariton, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Clarke suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Chariton in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
