Softball Recap: Southeast Raleigh Takes a Loss

Southeast Raleigh fell victim to Garner and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 15-0. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Southeast Raleigh's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Garner, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Coming up, Southeast Raleigh will look to defend their home field on Friday against South Garner at 4:00 p.m. Southeast Raleigh is facing South Garner at the right time seeing as South Garner is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Garner, they will venture away from home to face off against Cleveland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cleveland's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Garner's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
