Basketball Recap: Morgan Academy Comes Up Short

Morgan Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 56-45 to the Wilcox Academy Wildcats. If the Senators were looking for revenge after losing 62-40 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Morgan Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Wilcox Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Morgan Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Southern Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilcox Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 52-21 victory against Meadowview Christian on the 17th.
