A Season-Best Performance from Abran Gonzales Leads Arvin over Golden Valley

On Friday, Arvin got the W thanks in part to Abran Gonzales playing the best football he has all season. Gonzales rushed for 49 yards and two touchdowns.

The victory was the third in a row for Arvin, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. Gonzales and Arvin will face off against Foothill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Nathan Gonzales's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his fifth-straight game with 150+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown.

This year, Gonzales has averaged 33.1 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 1.13 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 146 rushing yards.
