Soccer Game Preview: Fort Vancouver vs. Stevenson

The Fort Vancouver Trappers will head out on the road to challenge the Stevenson Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Fort Vancouver's offense. They fell 2-0 to La Center on Tuesday. Fort Vancouver have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Stevenson also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 7-0 to King's Way Christian on Tuesday. Stevenson have struggled against King's Way Christian recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Fort Vancouver's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Stevenson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.

Fort Vancouver took their win against Stevenson in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trappers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
