Soccer Recap: Elgin Takes a Loss

If Elgin was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Weiss last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Elgin Wildcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Georgetown Eagles on Tuesday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Elgin's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Georgetown, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Elgin face off against the Pflugerville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Georgetown, they will take on Hendrickson at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
