Soccer Recap: Brandywine's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dowagiac, Brandywine was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Michigan Lutheran Titans a 1-0 shutout. The win was a breath of fresh air for Brandywine as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Brandywine's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-7-1 and their overall record up to 2-12-1. As for Michigan Lutheran, they dropped their record down to 5-10-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Brandywine will head out to face off against Three Rivers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Michigan Lutheran, they will host Coloma at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
