Lakeside and Franklin are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The Lions will be home for the holidays to greet the Quakers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeside has given up an average of 59.2 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Lakeside faced off against Seattle Prep on Friday. The Lions came up short against the Panthers, falling 74-54. The loss was the Lions' first of the season.

Despite the loss, Lakeside saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Quentin Mosby shot 48% from the field to rack up 30 points. That was a full 55.6% of the Lions' points, marking the fifth time in a row Mosby has posted more than a third of the team's points.

Meanwhile, Franklin strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against Chief Sealth by a score of 88-81. The Quakers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Lakeside, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Lakeside was taken down by Franklin 180-116 in their previous meeting back in February. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
