Dakota and Chippewa Valley are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2022, but not for long. The Dakota Cougars will welcome the Chippewa Valley Big Reds at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Dakota turned things around against Grosse Pointe South on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 62-55.

Meanwhile, Chippewa Valley lost to Port Huron Northern on the road by a 79-64 margin on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Big Reds in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now lost three in a row.

Chippewa Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Dakota, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Things could have been worse for Dakota, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-37 loss to Chippewa Valley when the teams last played on January 7th.
