Volleyball Recap: Bonner Springs Takes a Loss

Bonner Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Shawnee Mission North Bison.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11.

Bonner Springs' offense was headlined by Chasitee Sambol and Naomi Mathis, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Halli Gruver and her seven assists. Isabella Gonzales controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Bonner Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Shawnee Mission North, their win bumped their record up to 2-0-3.

Bonner Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Atchison on the 4th. As for Shawnee Mission North, they will be playing at home against Mill Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
