Clearview extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping their season record up to 13-4 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Kingsway Dragons. That's more bragging rights for the Pioneers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Clearview got a great performance from Andrew Boerner as he didn't allow a single earned run over 5.2 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Clearview saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braeden Cook, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

As for Kingsway, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

On Kingsway's side, Kevin Magsam was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Magsam has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

Clearview wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-0 defeat against Gloucester Catholic on the 3rd. As for Kingsway, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-2 loss against Audubon on the 3rd.
