Softball Recap: Westside Takes a Loss

Westside fell victim to Bellaire and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 13-0. The Wolves just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Westside's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Bellaire, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

Looking ahead, Westside will head out on the road to square off against Houston Math Science & Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.86 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bellaire, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wisdom at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Generals have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.8 runs per game on average), something the Cardinals will no doubt try to take advantage of.
