Piketon had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. Everything went their way against the Paint Valley Bearcats as they made off with a 10-0 win. Considering the Redstreaks have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Aubrey Heath was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Briar Penwell, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Piketon was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .516. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Piketon's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Paint Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Piketon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 28-3 victory against Western on the 22nd. As for Paint Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-2 loss against Southeastern on the 23rd.
