Softball Game Preview: Clover Park Timberwolves vs. Eatonville Cruisers

Clover Park hasn't had much luck against Eatonville recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Timberwolves will take on the Cruisers at 4:00 p.m. Clover Park has given up an average of 20.5 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Clover Park lost 25-3 to Washington on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Eatonville came into Thursday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 20-10 margin over Steilacoom on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Cruisers, who have now won five matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Grace Field, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn Kenney, who went 3-for-6 with four runs and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Eatonville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Clover Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Eatonville, their record is now 6-9.

Clover Park might still be hurting after the 19-5 loss they got from Eatonville in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Timberwolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
