Volleyball Recap: Cimarron's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a Battle of the Birds when Cimarron duked it out with Fellowship Baptist Academy on Saturday. The Bluejays walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Falcons. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bluejays as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Among those leading the charge was Kynlee Frink, who had eight digs and five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Frink wasn't the only good servers: Cimarron was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Cimarron's record is now 15-11. As for Fellowship Baptist Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Cimarron will take on LaCrosse at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fellowship Baptist Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Medicine Lodge on the 4th.
