Baseball Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carlisle can now relate to. They came up short against The Covenant Eagles on Monday, falling 11-1. The Chiefs haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Carlisle saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Casey Thomas, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for The Covenant, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Carlisle nor The Covenant have any future games scheduled.
