Queensbury extended their winning streak to five on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 14-1 in the process. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Scotia-Glenville Tartans a 2-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 on Wednesday.

Not much got past Oliver Pratt, who gave up just four hits to keep Scotia-Glenville off the board. Pratt has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.

As for Scotia-Glenville, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat they have suffered since April 24, 2024.

On Scotia-Glenville's side, Hayden Sladewski spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on one hit and racked up 15 Ks.

Meanwhile, Scotia-Glenville is set to face off against their familiar foe South Glens Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tartans 3.1, the Bulldogs 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
