Woodstock North is 9-1 against Harvard since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Thunder will venture away from home to take on the Hornets at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Woodstock North and eight for Harvard.

Woodstock North is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since May 16, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 12-1 to Sycamore.

Woodstock North saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braeden Berner, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Marengo hit Harvard with a five-run third inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hornets came up short against the Indians, falling 12-1.

Harvard's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Woodstock North, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Woodstock North has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Harvard struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Woodstock North took their victory against Harvard when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 13-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunder since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
