It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but University Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They pulled ahead with a 52-51 photo finish over the Ribault Trojans. The victory was nothing new for the Christians as they're now sitting on six straight.

Adalbert Allotey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a triple-double on 12 points, ten rebounds, and nine blocks. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in blocks. Another player making a difference was Henry Arthur, who posted six points and 13 boards.

When it comes to explaining why Ribault lost, don't look at Jamian Jackson. Despite the final result, he went 8 of 17 en route to 17 points. Jackson's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Toure, who scored ten points and six rebounds.

University Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Ribault, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-6 record.

University Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-52 win against Sandalwood on the 28th. As for Ribault, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 85-42 victory against ED White on the 30th.
