Volleyball Recap: Bloomington Takes a Loss

Bloomington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Cathedral City Lions. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Bloomington may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 20 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Bloomington's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Cathedral City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomington will host Chaffey at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cathedral City, they will be playing at home against Rancho Mirage at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
