Batesville is a perfect 10-0 against Franklin County since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will take on the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Batesville's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Batesville is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Columbus North on Wednesday. Neither the Bulldogs nor the Bull Dogs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Batesville was without their leading scorer, Hailee Weisenbach, in Wednesday's contest. With Weisenbach sitting this one out, Macey Benjamin got some extra time on the pitch (80 vs. her season average of 50.5).

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Franklin County's offense. They lost 5-0 to Oldenburg Academy on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Franklin County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 115th, while Oldenburg Academy are ranked 12th).

Franklin County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6-1. With that draw, Batesville's record moves to 9-5-1.
