Softball Recap: Milaca Takes a Loss

Milaca was the 16-11 winner over Swanville when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves lost 10-3 to the Bulldogs on Friday.

Milaca saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Megan Mixell, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Milaca has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Swanville, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1.

Milaca didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-7 loss against Upsala on the 9th. As for Swanville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Ogilvie at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
