Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Traverse City West). They snuck past the Alpena Wildcats with a 56-50 win on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Traverse City West's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Alpena, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Traverse City West will be taking part in a tournament against Traverse City Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Alpena does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
