After flying high against Arcadia Valley on Monday, Ste. Genevieve came back down to earth. The Dragons fell just short of the West County Bulldogs by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Dragons' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Ste. Genevieve's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for West County, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-6.

Looking ahead, Ste. Genevieve will head out to challenge Chester at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West County, they will square off against Clearwater at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Fightin' Tigers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
