Soccer Game Preview: Flat Rock vs. St. Mary Catholic Central

The Flat Rock Rams will venture away from home to square off against the St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Flat Rock will be strutting in after a victory while St. Mary Catholic Central will be coming in after a loss.

While Flat Rock's win against Jefferson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams beat the Bears by a goal, winning 2-1. The victory continues a trend for Flat Rock in their matchups with Jefferson: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, St. Mary Catholic Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to Cabrini.

Flat Rock's win bumped their record up to 7-9-1. As for St. Mary Catholic Central, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Everything went Flat Rock's way against St. Mary Catholic Central in their previous meeting back in August, as Flat Rock made off with a 7-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
