Preview: Albemarle School Colts vs. Ocracoke Dolphins
Albemarle School has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Ocracoke Dolphins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Albemarle School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 41 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Albemarle School took a serious blow against Mattamuskeet, falling 69-29. Albemarle School has struggled against Mattamuskeet recently, as their game on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Albemarle School had strong showings from Joseph Dunn, who scored 9 points along with 5 steals, and Chase Wentz, who scored 0 points.
Ocracoke has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 37 points or more this season. They breezed by Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech at home to the tune of 66-29.
The losses dropped Albemarle School to 0-6 and Mattamuskeet to 2-1.
