Basketball Game Preview: Fox Tech Buffaloes vs. Highlands Owls

The Fox Tech Buffaloes will take on the Highlands Owls in a holiday battle at at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Fox Tech has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Highlands will arrive with three straight wins.

Last Tuesday, Fox Tech lost to Edison on the road by a 48-32 margin.

Meanwhile, Highlands was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Sam Houston 71-39. That 32 point margin sets a new team best for the Owls this season.

Highlands' victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-9. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Fox Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16.
