Volleyball Recap: Randolph Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Hunterdon Central

Randolph faced Hunterdon Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Rams took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 21-2. As for Hunterdon Central, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.

Looking ahead, Randolph will square off against Jefferson Township at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hunterdon Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Monroe Township on the 9th.
