Volleyball Recap: Capac Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Capac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Harbor Beach Pirates. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Chiefs have suffered against the Pirates since October 18, 2022.

Capac was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Harbor Beach work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 26-24, 25-17.

Harbor Beach was led to victory by Reese Booms and Keltie Deer. Booms had 23 digs and three assists, while Deer had 12 assists and nine digs. Booms has been hot recently, having posted 21 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Capac's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-1. As for Harbor Beach, they now have a winning record of 8-7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Capac is set to square off against their familiar foe Sandusky at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harbor Beach will take on rival Ubly at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with the Pirates sitting on three straight wins and the Bearcats on four.
