Baseball Recap: Yerba Buena Takes a Loss

Yerba Buena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Mt. Pleasant Cardinals, falling 18-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-4 last Tuesday.

Yerba Buena's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Mt. Pleasant, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Coming up, Yerba Buena will take on San Jose at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Jose is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will face off against Gunderson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
