Struthers has gone 8-2 against Lakeview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wildcats will take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Struthers is looking for their season's first win.

Struthers is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Hubbard on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Wildcats came up short against the Eagles, falling 31-6. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 422nd, while the Eagles are ranked 175th).

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Lakeview's offense. They were beaten by Girard 35-0 on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Lakeview's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Struthers, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Struthers strolled past Lakeview in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 27-9. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
