Basketball Recap: Hoover Huskies vs. Clay County Panthers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Winfield, Hoover was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Clay County Panthers 46-19. The Huskies pushed the score to 34-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers had little chance of recovering from.

Hoover's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bella Haas, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Haas a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Zoey Hall, who posted ten points in addition to six rebounds and five steals.
Hoover smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
