Soccer Game Preview: Moore Haven vs. East Lee County

Moore Haven is 0-6 against East Lee County since December of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Moore Haven Terriers will take on the East Lee County Jaguars in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Moore Haven is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Monday. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Pahokee.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when East Lee County faced off against Dunbar on Wednesday. East Lee County fell just short of Dunbar by a score of 2-1.

East Lee County's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-5-1. As for Moore Haven, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9-1.

Moore Haven might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from East Lee County in their previous meeting last Monday. Can Moore Haven avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
