LaBrae gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Champion Golden Flashes as they made off with a 10-3 victory. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Golden Flashes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Landon Brunstetter made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. Brunstetter was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Vince Delvecchio, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Owen Boone, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
