Softball Recap: Elcho Takes a Loss

Elcho was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 13-1 to Three Lakes/Phelps. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 15-4 to Three Lakes/Phelps when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Elcho's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Three Lakes/Phelps, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Elcho didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-2 defeat against Florence on the 6th. As for Three Lakes/Phelps, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-0 win against Pembine/Goodman on the 6th.
