While Grand Island put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Lincoln Southeast. Grand Island blew past Lincoln Southeast 11-0. The win continues a trend for the Islanders in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.

The team relied heavily on Sam Schroeder, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Broxton Barrientos, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Grand Island's record is now 2-0. As for Lincoln Southeast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
