Basketball Game Preview: Travis Rebels vs. Northeast Early College Raiders

Travis hasn't had much luck against Northeast Early College recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Travis Rebels will host the Northeast Early College Raiders at 8:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Travis is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 57 points on Friday, they were much more limited against LBJ Austin on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Jaguars and fell 84-18. The game marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Northeast Early College lost to Eastside Early College at home by a 50-35 margin on Tuesday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Travis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Northeast Early College, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.

Travis won a match that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in February of 2024, slipping by Northeast Early College 53-52. Will Travis repeat their success, or does Northeast Early College have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
