Baseball Recap: Muldrow Takes a Loss

Muldrow was the 2-0 winner over Poteau when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday.

Brody Israel was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Muldrow's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Poteau, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Muldrow will square off against Fort Gibson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Poteau, they will face off against Cameron at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Pirates' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
