After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alameda, Concord was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed by the San Lorenzo Grizzlies on the road to the tune of 37-7. That's more bragging rights for the Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Jayden Reger was a one-man wrecking crew for Concord as he rushed for 85 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 49 receiving yards. The dominant performance gave Reger a new career-high in rushing yards. Concord also got help from Andrew Lopez, who showed off his sure hands for 89 receiving yards.
Concord's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for San Lorenzo, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
