Preview: McLaurin vs. Crystal Springs
On Friday McLaurin take on Crystal Springs at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
It was all tied up at halftime, but McLaurin weren't quite St. Andrew's Episcopal's equal in the second half when they met last Friday. McLaurin suffered a grim 21-42 defeat to St. Andrew's Episcopal. This makes it the second loss in a row for McLaurin.
Meanwhile, Crystal Springs came into their this week averaging 32.4 points per game, but Crystal Springs fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 0-21 walloping at Raleigh's hands. Crystal Springs' low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the contest before.
McLaurin took a serious blow against Crystal Springs the last time the two teams met, falling 6-41. Can McLaurin avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
