Baseball Recap: St. Charles Takes a Loss

St. Charles has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.8 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the La Crescent Lancers. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 17, 2018, but that streak is no more.

St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for La Crescent, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
