Baseball Recap: Unicoi County Blue Devils vs. Chuckey-Doak Black Knights

Unicoi County barely beat Chuckey-Doak the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Unicoi County never let Chuckey-Doak get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Friday. The Blue Devils not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 4th.

Kaden Cutlip was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Cutlip was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Rhett Allen was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. That stolen base was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Dustin Bogart, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.
