Kenwood is 8-2 against Lindblom since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Broncos will head out to square off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kenwood has five straight victories, Lindblom has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Kenwood will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Chicago Mt. Carmel, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. The Broncos walked away with a 5-1 win over the Caravan on Thursday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 23, 2017, but that streak is no more.

Evan Stinson tossed a big game, pitching 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
On the hitting side, Kenwood saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Damaurion Butler, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Lance Moon also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Lindblom couldn't beat Chicago Washington on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Eagles came up short against the Patriots, falling 22-5.
Terrance Washington was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Ajani Liddell was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
Kenwood now has a winning record of 6-5-1. As for Lindblom, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
Lindblom's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Kenwood hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .354. It's a different story for Lindblom, though, as they've only averaged .215. Will they be able to contain Kenwood's hitters?
Everything went Kenwood's way against Lindblom in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Kenwood made off with a 14-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncos since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
