Miramonte entered their tilt with San Leandro on Saturday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Pirates. The Matadors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Miramonte's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for San Leandro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Miramonte wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Redwood Christian on the 27th. Hopefully San Leandro paid attention to the Matadors' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Matadors at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
