South Columbus took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the East Bladen Eagles by a score of 3-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

South Columbus had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-16, 25-23, 26-24.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Columbus is headed away from home for the first time to challenge West Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Bladen, they will challenge Heide Trask at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
