Johan Tejada gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April on Monday. He was dynamite, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits (and only one walk). Eastside is 2-1 when Tejada allows three or fewer earned runs, but 7-9 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Tejada and Eastside will welcome St. Joseph Regional at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Ghosts will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 252 places lower in New Jersey), but they're not letting that get them down.
