Recap: E.E. Smith Golden Bulls vs. First Flight Nighthawks

They fell 77-67 to the Nighthawks. E.E. Smith was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as First Flight apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Despite the loss, E.E. Smith saw an underclassman step up: Tre Williams scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnathan Williams, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.

First Flight's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mason Dobie led the charge by scoring 39 points. Another player making a difference was Brody Woods, who scored 23 points.

E.E. Smith dropped their record down to 10-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for First Flight, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.
