DuVal won the last time they faced Parkdale and things went their way on Thursday too. The DuVal Tigers walked away with a 58-48 victory over the Parkdale Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Jacob Wilson and Alusine Mansaray certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Wilson went 6 of 7 on his way to 17 points, while Mansaray went 5 for 10 on his way to 15 points. Those 15 points gave Mansaray a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tavonte Martin, who posted nine points.

DuVal's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Parkdale, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the DuVal Tigers duke it out with the Northwestern Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parkdale, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-40 defeat against KIPP College Prep on the 16th.
